The inaugural release from Flea Circus Records is the Oxford Collapse's "Bits" LP - the vinyl edition of the fine album put out by Sub Pop records up in the northwest corner of the country. With favorable reviews from Pitchfork and a spot on the "Staff Picks" list by Insound.com, Bits has shaped up to be a monster indie-rock album.
Flea Circus Records began in the fall of 2008 when it was announced that Sub Pop would not be pressing vinyl copies of the Oxford Collapse album "Bits". To help my buddies Dan, Mike and Adam out, I started this label as a way to put out records that I feel deserve to exist on the vinyl format. Thanks for checking us out! - Todd Purple
